BlackPink post behind-the-scenes photos, thank Vietnamese fans
BlackPink's members Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé posted backstage photos of their show at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium and said thank you to Vietnamese fans, known as V-Blinks.
On August 2, Jennie posted on Instagram behind-the-scenes photos of BlackPink’s 2 nights in Hanoi.
Jennie said: "Hanoi (with the symbol of Vietnam's national flag), thank you very much for two wonderful nights".
She also posted a photo of her posing with a nón lá (Vietnamese conical hat) and a clip dancing to Vietnamese pop artist Hoang Thuy Linh's song “See Tinh” (See Love), a viral tune across many Asian countries.
Jennie's somewhat tired moment backstage. She had to use a head pack. However, on stage, Jennie still happily sang and enthusiastically interacted with the audience.
Jisoo posted a selfie backstage during the nights in Hanoi.
She said that she had a good time in Vietnam which she had visited for the first time. “I got a lot of energy from V BLINK,” she wrote.
BlackPink's eldest sister also posted a picture at their hotel.
On her page, Rosé showed her appreciation and delight at meeting her V-Blinks. “I’ve been waiting for this day so much… Tôi yêu bạn, Vietnam. I cannot wait to be back,” she wrote.
BlackPink members said they all loved the Vietnamese conical hat.
BLACKPINK has inspired fans globally with their unique music and fashion styles. Since their debut back in 2016, the group has quickly gone on to dominate the music market in the RoK and around the world, with many of their hits reaching billions of views.
The band performed in Hanoi on July 29-30, entertaining approximately 60,000 fans from Vietnam and several Asian countries.
Before Vietnam, the band had a number of successful shows on their current Born Pink world tour. Ticket sales were strong for concerts across the continent and became the highest-grossing tour by a female group, as their world tour grossed over US$78 million, duly surpassing the previous record held by the Spice Girls.
