A book about Donald Trump’s US presidential election campaign translated into Vietnamese was released in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The book about Donald Trump’s presidential election campaign has been released to help Vietnamese readers understand more about the US President and his strategy. 

Publishers said it would help Vietnamese readers better understand the US President and his strategy.

Roger Stone’s book, Making of the President 2016: How Donald Trump Orchestrated a Revolution, is translated by Nguyen Thanh Chau.

Stone is a long-time Trump’s retainer and confidant. He parses strategy and circumstances in the election that “shocked” the nation. The author delivers an “in-depth examination of how Trump’s campaign tapped into the national mood to deliver a stunning victory that almost no one saw coming”.

A seminar was held together with the book launch to discuss President Trump’s strategy, his influence on Asian countries and the relationship between Viet Nam and the US.

Among those attending the event were Bui The Giang, vice president of the Viet Nam-USA Society.

The event was one among several held to honour President Trump’s official visit to Viet Nam. — VNS
