The Bphone 2 is still expected to be introduced this year, a leader from makers Bkav told local media though he could not say exactly when.
It’s now been a year since the first Bphone smartphone was introduced. While it attracted a lot of attention it large failed to make an impression on the market.
When it released the first version Bkav has plans already to release a second version a year on. There has, in recent times, been talk that the release of the Bphone 2 may be delayed.
Information on the Bphone 2 surprisingly appeared on the website of thegioididong.com earlier in the year, saying it would have a RAM of 4GB, a 21-megapixel rear camera that can film 4K video, and a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Its front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels. Memory storage is 128 GB and its battery is 4,100 mA-h.
Another local technology website cited sources from Bkav saying that the second version of the Bphone has 3D fingerprint sensor technology.
Thanks to this new technology the phone can identify the fingerprint via the screen without needing a separate button.
The technology is said, however, to be the main reason behind the Bphone 2 being introduced later than Bkav expected.
