This was the first official appearance of BPhone 3. The ad was only 15 seconds long, but it was enough to show the luxury design of the phone. There will be three versions of BPhone 3, with black, gold and silver colors.

BPhone 3 appears with glossy appearance, with the edge of the machine making it look like it has an infinity screen. There is a fingerprint sensor located just above the logo, on the back of the phone.

BPhone 3 looks like an iPhone X. The front and rear sides of the product are glazed, while the rim looks like the latest products of Samsung Galaxy.

The advertiser drew viewers’ attention to the capacitive touch sensing button. It is possible that BKAV (Bach Khoa Corporation), the manufacturer, will use a fingerprint sensor like the Apple’s iPhone X.

BPhone series are the first made-in-Vietnam high-end smartphone products. BPhone 2 is made of 900 components and accessories, of which 54 percent are sourced from Japan, 23 percent from the US, and most of the remaining from Europe and South Korea, with 0.9 percent from China.

Analysts said curved, or a slightly curved screens, no mechanical home buttons, and glazed covers are now in fashion.

Strong debates have broken out on forums about the phone. However, the images are not enough for technology fans to guess production costs and the quality of components.

The BPhone 3 will not use Chinese chips.

The spokesperson for BKAV has denied that BKAV used cheap Chinese components to cut production costs.

“The new BPhone will have selling prices fitting different groups of customers. However, we did not use Chinese chips as a solution to cut production costs,” said Do Thi Thu Hang from BKAV.
