Steph Lysaght, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Hanoi, on Tuesday joined local artists in an activity to paint walls and draw paintings along the streets in Saigon with an aim to send a message of environment and wild animal protection, especially the rhino which is threatened with extinction.

Steph Lysaght is working and living in Hanoi. Once seeing a post on Facebook of a program to draw wall paintings to protect wild animal, he actively contacts the organizers to join with other participants






An Englishman named Philip said he is happy to join the event to draw wall paintings to help protect rhino and to promote street art in HCMC






Saving rhino and stop using rhino horns and protect wild animal and environment are the messages that participants wish to deliver to the community






It is expected that 17 wall paintings will be completed during the program to express different angles about rhinos in a context of an urban life. The program is organized by CHANGE, an NGO on environment, and the Youth Union of District 1.
