A British traveller has been rescued after getting lost on Son Tra Peninsular in the central city of Danang for two days.

On the morning of September 13, a group of four foreigners from the US, Australia and the UK took a tour to the peninsula.

On the way to Mui Nghe area, they were suddenly separated from one another and then divided into two pairs.   

By 8 pm of September 14, the two women from the US could get out of the forest and came to Tho Quang Ward’s police station to tell about the case.

After being informed, local authorities immediately deployed the rescue for the two missing.

By 8 am on September 15, the Australian man could contact local authorities and reported about his British friend who was exhausted and lying at a beach near Mui Nghe area.

On the same day, a canoe was sent to take the British traveller to the mainland and his health has recovered.

The Australian and British tourists have returned to their rooms hired at Ngu Hanh Son District.
