Le Hoai Anh, president of HAL Group, has 58,000 followers on her Facebook, the number which is three times higher than the fanpage of the company she owns (Anna Sanctuary Wellness Spa’s fanpage only has 16,000 followers).

Anh’s Facebook is favored because she likes sharing views about burning issues in society. The woman made a lot of comments about the US presidetial election and the US administration’s policy on preventing immigrants. The owner of HAL Group also talks about how to take care of personal health, which receives high interest from the community.

Anh’s status updates sometimes are about family values or traditional Tet. She writes status updated regularly and each one attracts about 6,000 likes.

Trinh Van Quyet, president of FLC Group, is not a veteran Facebooker, but his fanpage attracts thousands of likes. People are curious about the life and work of the businessman recognized as the richest Vietnamese stock billionaire.

When Quyet joined the Facebookers’ community, he only shared the page with some friends, and did not set the page at ‘public’ regime. His unstudied style on Facebook makes people think he is a regular guy.

Quyet sometimes shares his thoughts about Vietnam’s economic development. He often updates the activities of FLC Group ‘in order to help Vietnam become more beautiful every day’ and expresses his views on how to develop tourism.

The businessman believes that tourism development will facilitate exports. If Vietnam can develop tourism well, it will help deal with possible trade barriers.

Quyet also shares stories about his family and charity campaigns he launches for the poor.
