VietNamNet Bridge – The vice chief of the Department of Culture of Ca Mau province has been reprimanded for a photo on the Internet in which his hand was clasped over the “sensitive body part” of a female cleaner.

The official – Mr. Ho Ngoc Tan – was reprimanded for the incident, which he explained as an “accident”.

The photo was uploaded by someone on social networks several days ago and it immediately attracted public attention in the southern province of Ca Mau. 

It is identified that the photo was taken several months ago, when the cleaner was in the area where she kept her working tools.

Tan explained that he did not harass or have a relationship with the cleaner but he was “harmed” by the woman.

"She said she had some nice photos on her cellphones that she wanted to show me. When I stretched my arm to take the phone she moved aside, pulled the phone back and pulled my hand and then someone took photos and filmed," Tan said.
