Politburo member, head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh

In 2022, the commission completed three projects submitted to the Politburo to issue as resolutions, including: Resolution 18 on ‘continuing to renovate and perfect institutional regimes and policies, improve the validity and effectiveness in land management and usage, create driving forces to turn Vietnam into a developed country with high income’; Resolution 19 on ‘agriculture, farmer and rural areas by 2030, with a vision towards 2045’; and Resolution 29 on ‘continuing to accelerate industrialization and modernization of the country by 2030 with a vision towards 2045’.

It is now working on three plans which are about to be submitted to the Politburo. These include the plan on ‘summarizing the 5-year implementation of Resolution 19-NQ-TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Central Committee on continuing to renovate the organization and management system, upgrading the quality and effectiveness of the operation of public non-business units’; the plan on ‘building regulations on recruiting, training, fostering and appointing state-owned enterprise managerial officers suitable to the political regime, market mechanism, satisfying the requirements for international integration’; and the plan on ‘reviewing the 10-year implementation of Resolution 26-NQ/TW dated July 30, 2013 of the Politburo on the orientations and development of Nghe An province by 2020’.

Politburo member, head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh, said the commission gathered strength and completed a huge workload in 2022. The documents the commission submitted to the Politburo are extremely important to deploy the policies and guidelines on socio-economic development of the country in accordance with the spirit of the 13th Party Congress.

Regarding tasks in 2023, he said it is necessary to continue to learn from the implementation of resolutions and the building of plans so as to effectively deploy the tasks in the upcoming time.

Stressing that it is difficult to release resolutions but even more difficult to bring the resolutions into life, Anh requested special attention to the examination and supervision of resolution implementation, in order to improve the effectiveness of the Party's guidelines and policies.

The three plans are expected to be submitted to the Politburo in Q1/2023.
