The police inspected an apartment in Dien Ngoc ward of central Quang Nam province on June 28 and found Fan Chao hiding there, Tuoi Tre reported.

Fan was prosecuted by Chinese authorities for economic and environmental crimes and included on the list of fugitives.

Through inspection, the police also discovered that Fan’s visa had already expired.

The police sanctioned the Chinese man for such violation and are now completing procedures to hand over him to Chinese authorities.
