The festival will be held to celebrate "Traditional Day of Bến Tre Province".
The festival is held at the Chợ Lách District Cultural Tourism Village. This is a model village in the Mekong Delta region selected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for construction.
The festival with the theme “Colors of Chợ Lách” is expected to reflect the vivid, fresh and creative development of the district.
The festival has a scale of more than 100 commercial booths of ornamental flowers and seedlings; enterprises providing technology application solutions in digital transformation and developing Chợ Lách's green agricultural economy; and traditional craft villages and handicrafts.
In addition, there are introductions and trade promotion activities; the traditional cockfighting cultural space of Chợ Lách District; the ornamental plant cultural space of Chợ Lách District; th southern amateur music cultural space; garden tourism, cuisine and folk games space; spaces displaying agricultural economic achievements, OCOP products, and typical start-up products of the district.
According to the People's Committee of Cho Lach district, there will be programmes, displays, exhibitions, contests, culture, art, cuisine, and entertainment, along with introducing seedlings and ornamental flowers to domestic and foreign tourists, which will contribute to promoting trade, tourism and investment, socio-economic development, and creating and enhancing the local image.
Chợ Lách ornamental flower village is one of the most famous handicraft village brands in Mekong Delta tourism. As one of the exciting new tourist attractions in the region, the flower village contributes to beautify the landscapes of the prosperous delta. VNS
