CLS Knights Indonesia beat Saigon Heat by a narrow score of 91-90 in the ASEAN Basketball League on Wednesday.

The game was played at GOR Kertajaya Surabaya arena.

Although they were the visitors, the Heat took the lead in the early minutes thanks to Kyle Barone (five points) and Trần Đăng Khoa (two points). However, the hosts turned the game around to lead 23-22 after the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Heat dominated the game and pulled ahead to a 35-30 lead, but the Indonesian players took full advantage of the Heat’s defensive line errors to lead 47-44 into the break.

The game remained close and the score was 66-66 heading into the third period.

With the skill of Trevon Hughes (six points), De Angelo Hamilton (six points) and Khoa (six points), the Heat jumped ahead to lead 88-77 with only two minutes left to play.

However, CLS Knights Indonesia fought back and completed a remarkable turnaround to win the match with a score of 91-90

The loss dropped the Heat to sixth place in the rankings with 12 wins and 12 losses, while CLS Knights Indonesia rose to fourth place with 14 wins and 11 losses. San Miguel Alab Pilipinas remained at the top of the standing with 18 wins and five losses.
