VNISA Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hung emphasized that caring for and protecting children in the online environment is the responsibility of the entire society. Implementing the Government's "Program to protect and support children in healthy and creative interactions in the online environment for 2021 - 2025". VNISA has organized many activities in this field. 

Going further, it established the Club for the Protection of Vietnamese Children in Cyberspace.

“The club will be a place to attract Vietnamese and international organizations to actively participate in VNISA’s child protection activities, and will be the core for VNISA to deploy child protection activities,"Hung said.

Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Information Security under the Ministry of Information and Communications Tran Dang Khoa praised VNISA’s initiative, saying that this is a practical action showing the interest of organizations and businesses in joining hands to implement "Social Responsibility".

According to a representative of VNISA, the club will be responsible for researching and contributing opinions for the development of state policies and legal documents in the field of online child protection; coordinating with state agencies to raise awareness and skills to protect children in cyberspace; and promoting the creation of content that supports children's healthy interactions in cyberspace.

This specialized organization will also help VNISA develop its basic criteria and standards for products and services that protect children in healthy interactions; and promote ecosystem building and expand markets for Vietnamese businesses with child protection products and services.

With the participation of 11 members that are businesses and organizations operating in the field of supporting and protecting children in Vietnam, the club has a Board of Directors of six members.

The club chairman is Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of VNISA, and two vice chairs are Deputy Director of VNPT Information Security Center Ho Trong Dat and Director of Bkav Malware Research Center Nguyen Tien Dat.
 
The club’s initial members include eight businesses - VNPT, FPT, Bkav, CyRadar, SCS, NCS, Lancs Vietnam, Sconnect Vietnam - and three organizations - World Vision Vietnam, Plan International Vietnam and Childfund Vietnam.
