On December 22, 2024, HCM City leaders convened with stakeholders from the newly established C4IR. The meeting emphasized the city’s commitment to harnessing Industry 4.0 technologies to boost development and enhance quality of life.

During the event, HCM City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen called for a forward-thinking mindset, urging members to seize the opportunities presented by Industry 4.0. Similarly, HCM City People's Committee Chairman Phan Van Mai pledged the city’s full support for C4IR, highlighting it as a model of public-private collaboration and an integral part of the city's future.

“This center symbolizes our readiness to embrace change and lead in this new era of innovation. With concerted efforts, we aim to transform HCM City into a beacon of technological progress,” said Chairman Mai.

Launched in September 2024, the center is designed to drive HCM City's ambitions to become a global hub for Industry 4.0.
