As part of the nationwide celebrations leading up to Vietnam’s 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the conference served as a vital platform reaffirming the essential contributions of the business community to the country’s development. A central highlight was the presentation of the Commemorative Medal for 80 Years of Enterprises Accompanying the Nation and the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit to outstanding enterprises, including CMC Corporation, for their exceptional role in national growth.

The moment Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of CMC, received the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit on behalf of nearly 6,000 CMC employees in Vietnam and worldwide was filled with pride and emotion. This recognition honors not only CMC’s achievements but also its unwavering commitment to establishing Vietnamese intelligence on the global technology landscape.

A journey of sustainable growth

In the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, CMC recorded estimated revenue of 2,210 billion VND (approximately USD 90.5 million), a 23% increase year-on-year, and pre-tax profit of 136 billion VND (USD 5.6 million), up 21%. For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, CMC targets revenue of 9,828 billion VND (USD 402.2 million), with projected EBITDA exceeding 1,200 billion VND (USD 49 million), both reflecting 20% growth. Amidst ongoing global economic uncertainty, these figures highlight CMC’s operational resilience and adaptability.

Beyond financial metrics, CMC continues to gain recognition from both the market and society. For two consecutive years (2024–2025), CMC has been named one of the Top 50 Most Valuable Listed Companies in Vietnam by Forbes Vietnam. This distinction underscores the corporation’s robust financial capacity, brand strength, and long-term strategic vision.

The achievements of four business pillars

The Digital Infrastructure Business, with the Tan Thuan Data Center at its core, made history as Vietnam’s first facility to simultaneously achieve Level 4 National Information System Security Standard and Uptime Tier III certification for design, construction, and operation. This business unit has earned prestigious honors such as the Asian Telecom Awards and Global Brand Awards. In particular, CMC Cloud was recognized among the Top 10 Outstanding Digital Products (2018-2024) and represents a strategic mission to build a sovereign Vietnamese cloud platform. Recently, CMC Telecom was officially certified as an Authorized Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Partner of Brandefense, a global leader in Threat Intelligence.

CMC’s Technology & Solutions Business, headed by CMC TS, reported revenue exceeding 4,000 billion VND (USD 163.7 million) in fiscal year 2024, with impressive growth in both profitability and market share. Supported by a team of over 1,000 experts with thousands of international certifications, CMC TS has been ranked among the Top 4 prestigious digital transformation enterprises (VNR 500) and the Top 10 Outstanding IT Companies (VINASA). It has also been honored by global technology giants such as Samsung, Palo Alto, and HPE.

On the global front, CMC’s Global Business Division continued its expansion by launching CMC Korea, opening a third representative office in Tokyo, and joining the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren). In fiscal year 2024, the division advanced to CMMI Level 5 certification and received prominent accolades, including the Globee® Awards 2024 and Stevie® Awards 2025. A significant achievement came in August 2025, when CMC Global was officially designated a Google Agentspace Partner for enterprise AI platforms and became a Select Tier Partner in the Consulting & Systems Integration program of Databricks, a global data and AI powerhouse.

Meanwhile, the Research & Education Division marked substantial milestones. CMC University (CMC UNI) launched an AI Training Assistant that increased course pass rates to 84.6%, and student enrollment for the 2025 academic year surged by 85% over 2024. CMC ATI introduced two innovative products – CMC AI Vision and CMC AIBOX – and executed numerous high-impact projects, receiving both local and international awards. Notably, its CATI-VLM AI model ranked 12th globally at the Robust Reading Competition (RRC) 2025, demonstrating CMC’s standing as a leading hub for AI research and applied innovation.

Strategic projects - foundations for the AI era

In addition to strong business performance, CMC is forging ahead with national-scale projects. On June 1, 2025, the Group broke ground on the CMC Creative Space (CCS Hanoi), envisioned as a center for creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological collaboration. Less than a month later, on June 24, 2025, CMC received an investment license for the CMC Hyperscale Data Center in Ho Chi Minh City, valued at USD 250 million. This project has been hailed as the “AI Heart” of Southern Vietnam.

Beyond physical infrastructure, CMC remains focused on two strategic missions: developing the CMC Cloud as Vietnam’s national cloud platform, and advancing the C-OpenAI ecosystem. A major milestone was reached on August 16, 2025, with the official establishment of CMC OpenAI Company. This move positions Vietnam in the global AI race, founded on the principles of openness, connectivity, and knowledge sharing.

National pride on a historic occasion

At the award ceremony, CMC Chairman Nguyen Trung Chinh shared his thoughts: “On behalf of nearly 6,000 CMCers in Vietnam and around the world, I am deeply honored that CMC has received the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit on this historic occasion – the 80th National Day. This recognition is a reward for our unwavering efforts and a powerful motivator for us to further assert Vietnamese intelligence and contribute to building a strong, prosperous nation in the era of artificial intelligence.”

From cutting-edge data centers and open AI ecosystems to global partnerships and future-driven projects, CMC is steadfastly moving toward its vision of “Make in Vietnam – Go Global.” The Prime Minister’s recognition is not only a mark of national pride but also a testament to CMC’s unwavering commitment to pioneering innovation and helping Vietnam emerge as a technological leader in the years ahead.
