Accordingly, CMC Telecom will outsource the security services of IBM to protect the enterprise from cyber crime and security risks.
CMC will use these services to further develop experience and skills, and improve the service quality in leasing security services of CMC Telecom.
Eric CW Yeo, Country General Manager of IBM Viet Nam, said that the business environment had become increasingly connected and that businesses had to be continuously innovative and creative to protect consumers from security risks.
Ngo Trong Hieu, General Director of CMC Telecom shared that the targets of cyber criminals were expanding, while criminal groups were constantly conspiring together to share infrastructure to deploy offensive attacks.
Therefore, businesses and organisations needed to prepare well for the challenges ahead, he added.
According to a report from the Viet Nam Computer Emergency Response Team (Vncert), said there were 5,898 cases of phishing ; 8,850 of defacement and 16,837 malware incidents last year.
