Update news container truck
One day after announcing the information affirming that all the 39 victims in the incident of the container truck in Essex, the UK are Vietnamese, the Ministry of Public Security yesterday announced their identities.
Gen. To Lam, Minister of Public Security, held telephone talks in the afternoon of October 30 with Priti Patel, Home Secretary of the UK.
Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung has thanked the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and relevant agencies of the UK for their active support and sharing of information related to lorry deaths in Essex with Vietnam.
Chinese Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Geng Shuang on October 28 firmed that the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam is keeping close contacts with Vietnamese agencies for the case of 39 people found dead in a container truck in the UK.
At 4am on August 1, a container truck after passing Hoang Van Thu - Tran Huy Lieu intersection in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City rushed across the street and crashed into two houses, with 10 people inside.
