Standing together on the stage to receive their degrees carried a special meaning for the couple. It was not simply recognition of academic achievement, but a milestone marking a journey shaped by persistence and shared effort. Late-night study sessions after work, high-pressure exams and intensive research became more manageable with a partner who was always there to encourage and accompany.
Reflecting on the experience, Hoang Thi Trang said the greatest joy was not just the distinction itself, but the fact that they completed the journey together.
“For us, this is a beautiful memory and also a motivation to keep striving on the road ahead,” she said. According to Trang, their achievement is the result of perseverance, disciplined study and mutual understanding in their family life.
A representative of the university noted that pursuing postgraduate education while maintaining work and personal responsibilities remains a significant challenge for many students.
100% of graduates meet IELTS 5.5 benchmark
At this graduation ceremony, the university awarded degrees to 597 graduates from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts across 30 disciplines. It also recognized two new doctoral graduates in business administration and 153 master’s graduates in fields including business administration, finance and banking, accounting, economic law and English language.
Beyond the story of the couple, the master’s program also saw many outstanding performers. Notably, Ngo Thi Bon topped the business administration program with a GPA of 3.73, while Tran Thi Thu led the English language program with a GPA of 3.75.
At the undergraduate level, the ceremony recorded encouraging outcomes. The proportion of graduates achieving good and excellent classifications reached 9.7%. Many students completed their programs ahead of schedule with high cumulative GPAs, while also earning international language certificates such as IELTS 7.0 or TOEIC 850 and above.
Notably, 100% of graduates met the foreign language output standard equivalent to at least IELTS 5.5, in line with the university’s bilingual training orientation.
Le Dung, head of the university’s training department, said graduation results not only reflect individual effort but also affirm the effectiveness of a practice-oriented curriculum. The institution focuses on equipping students with both professional knowledge and the skills needed to adapt to modern working environments.
