Speaking at the event, the Deputy FM lauded the Ambassador’s contributions to arranging mutual visits at all levels and maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of bilateral cooperation mechanisms.
During his tenure, the Ambassador also worked hard to accelerate the negotiations, signing and implementation of bilateral cooperation agreements, especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment, agriculture, fisheries, education-training, medicine-pharmaceuticals, finance-banking, and exchange between socio-political organisations.
Diaz, for his part, noted that the Cuban leaders and people always remember the solidarity and valuable support that the Vietnamese Party, State and people provided for Cuban revolutionary cause.
He thanked Vietnamese ministries, agencies, localities and socio-political organisations for their active support and cooperation and wished to continue to work for the special solidarity between the two countries.
