The service will be put into operation on a trial basis from October 12 and will run until the end of the month as part of the 2022 Da Lat Flower Festival and other activities to be held to promote local tourism.

Following the pilot stage, the service will be officially included in the programme of the Da Lat Flower Festival 2022 which is scheduled to take place on November 1.

The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has revealed that the activity can be developed into a new tourism product in a bid to attract more local and foreign tourists to the region.

Paragliding has developed into a popular activity which attracts tourists in several regions in Vietnam, including the recently held Mu Cang Chai Paragliding Festival in the north.

During the annual festival, tourists will have the chance to contemplate the breathtaking landscapes created by impressive yellow terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai, a small town of Yen Bai province.
