The 513.8 metres bridge is the oldest in Danang and it links the banks of the Han River.
Under the plan, the city will launch night-time tourism activities on the bridge and surrounding areas from the first quarter of this year.
The lighting systems will be installed on the bridge to create check-in spots for visitors. Meanwhile, the city will also hold music performances at weekends at Tran Hung Dao and Chuong Duong streets which are located near the bridge.
Other activities such as sports events, fitness training, running, chess tournaments, and painting competitions will be also organised on the bridge.
Nguyen Van Troi Bridge was built in 1960. In 2015, it was renovated to include pedestrian access.
