Some 14 five-star hotels will accommodate high-ranking delegates while their entourages, journalists and flight crew members will stay in three- and four-star hotels.
The department has coordinated with the APEC 2017 Materials and Logistics Sub-Committee to prepare parking space for nearly 1,600 cars serving the event.
The municipal Department of Tourism also had working sessions with nearly 600 directors and managers of hotels across the city to discuss preparations for the week.
The hotels are required to seriously implement measures in order to ensure security, order and food hygiene, and fire prevention.
The Da Nang General Hospital has also joined hands with the BNH International Hospital of Thailand to conduct first-aid training for staff members of 18 resorts and hotels involved in the event.
The APEC Economic Leaders’ Week will take place in Da Nang from November 6 to 11. The event will bring together around 10,000 delegates from 21 APEC member economies.
