Flight TR314, operated by Scoot Airlines, departed from Changi International Airport and landed at Da Nang International Airport with 174 passengers onboard. This inaugural flight signals the start of regular service between the two destinations.

The airline will operate the Singapore–Da Nang route three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with plans to increase to daily flights starting January 2026. The service uses Airbus A320 aircraft, each with a capacity of 180 to 186 seats.

According to Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of Da Nang’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, tourism from Singapore to Da Nang has shown consistent growth thanks to favorable geography, convenient air connectivity, and shared cultural similarities within the ASEAN region.

With Scoot joining Singapore Airlines and Vietjet Air, the total frequency of flights between Singapore and Da Nang has now increased to 24 per week. This expansion is expected to further promote tourism exchanges and create more opportunities for development and cooperation between the two destinations.

Currently, Scoot Airlines operates direct flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Phu Quoc. The airline is also scheduled to open its Singapore–Cam Ranh route in November 2025.

In 2025, Da Nang is projected to welcome over 17.3 million visitors, four times higher than in 2020. Of these, international arrivals are expected to exceed 7.6 million, a tenfold increase, while domestic visitors may reach 9.7 million, 2.7 times more than in 2020. Revenue from accommodation, food, and travel services is projected to surpass 59 trillion VND (approximately USD 2.32 billion), nearly 3.5 times higher than in 2020.
