VietNamNet Bridge - The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and the central city of Da Nang top the administrative reform rankings for 2015.

On August 17 Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Trong Thua announced the administrative reform index 2015 of ministries, ministerial-level agencies and People's Committees of provinces and cities in Vietnam. 

All agencies had a score of over 80 out of the maximum 100. No agency saw a decline from the previous year.

The State Bank of Vietnam reached 89.42, ranking first among 19 ministries and ministerial-level agencies, followed by the Ministry of Finance (89.21), and the Ministry of Transport (88.77).

Four ministries had a score of less than 83, including the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education and Training. 

Among provinces and cities, Da Nang had the highest, with 93.31, while Dien Bien had the lowest index of 74.99.

This is the 4th year the Ministry of Home Affairs released the administrative reform rankings for ministries and provinces.

In the previous rankings in 2014, only five ministries scored over 80. The Ministry of Transport took the lead with 81.83, followed by the Ministry of Finance with 81.54, and the SBV 80.48. The Ministry of Science and Technology was at the bottom, with 71.

Also in 2014, Da Nang ranked first among provinces, with 92.54, higher than the national average of 11.33.

Da Nang ranked top for administrative reform in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
