Currently, Dak Lak province has 5 cocoa processing enterprises to export to Japan and the Europe. With the main product being fermented dried cocoa beans (raw material), the export value is not high.

To promote the development of cocoa trees, Dak Lak province is promoting research on breeding new high-yield varieties, organizing linked production from raw material areas to product processing and consumption, and encouraging businesses to invest, innovate processing technology, diversify products, and meet international standards to bring Vietnamese cocoa products to the world.
