SHB Danang have re-signed contracts with three players who played a key role in the team’s third position at the 2016 V. League.

Le Van Hung, Teofilo Soares Eydison and the season’s highest scorer Sebastian Gaston Merlo secured their berths with the former champion club, setting aside promising offers from Becamex Binh Duong and FLC Thanh Hoa.

SHB Da Nang are also negotiating with midfielder Hoang Minh Tam, whose contract with SHB Da Nang’s youth team is coming to an end soon.

Captain Pham Nguyen Sa and senior player Chau Le Phuoc Vinh will be the next whose contracts with SHB Da Nang will be negotiated.

The team’s managers have, however, decided to bid goodbye to veteran midfielder Huynh Quoc Anh, who is expected to join home town club QNK Quang Nam.

Anh, a former national player, was unable to retain his place, competing against dynamic and young players such as Nguyen Thanh Hai, Nguyen Vu Phong and Vo Huy Toan.

Anh, who was with Da Nang for 15 years, mainly stayed on the bench in the 2016 season.
