Danish Crown Prince warmly welcomed upon arrival in Vietnam
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan hosted a welcome ceremony on November 1 at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi for Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth who are currently on an official working visit to the country.
Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth pay an official visit to Vietnam between October 31 and November 3 following an invitation made by Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
The visit comes amid the 51st anniversary since the establishment of bilateral ties.

The visit is the third made by Crown Prince Frederik following trips to the country in both 2009 and 2011.

The Danish Crown Prince is joined by various representatives of 36 leading Danish companies which specialise in wind energy, as well as efficient energy management and use.

The same day sees President Nguyen Xuan Phuc receive Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth who are paying an official working visit to Vietnam.

2011 saw Crown Prince Frederik visit Vietnam amid both sides celebrating 40 years of diplomatic ties. His return in November therefore marks the 51st anniversary since the initial establishment of bilateral diplomacy.
Over the next few days the Danish delegation will visit wind power projects in Hai Phong and efficient energy saving projects in Ha Nam, as well as holding a series of meetings with Danish enterprises operating in Vietnam. Source: VOV
