A Danish film festival will take place in Hue from May 26-28 and in Da Nang from June 2-4.

During the festival, seven films will be screened at Le Do and Dong Ba Cinemas.

The upcoming event will not only contribute to cementing and deepening the friendship and solidarity between the two countries but also introducing and advertizing the Danish movie industry to Vietnamese people.

The repertoire of the festival includes recommendations made by movie theatres in Denmark and is comprised of a selection of films in various genres - drama, comedy, romance, action and short films.

A Royal Affair and The Hunt, both of which received academy award nominations for Best Foreign Language film and star leading man Mads Mikkelse will be screened at the festival.

Other popular titles that will show at the event include the thriller The Candidate, the dramas A Hijacking and Silence Heart, and animations Freddy Frogface and Mini and Mozzies.

All the films will be screened with the Danish language with Vietnamese and English subtitles.
