FPT Japan, a subsidiary of FPT Software, has become the largest foreign IT firm in Japan with 760 employees working at four offices. This year it plans to expand its headcount to 3,000 people.

Vietnam is forecast to fall short of about 70,000 IT employees by the end of 2018 though there are nearly 80,000 IT graduates in 2017 and 2018.
