The capital also saw 25 more cases of measles, 58 cases of foot-and-mouth, three cases of whooping cough and one fatality caused by pig streptococcus in Minh Chau Commune, Ba Vì District.

So far this year, Hanoi has recorded 348 cases of dengue fever, 315 cases of measles, more than 1,200 cases of foot-and-mouth, 51 cases of whooping cough and 11 cases of pig streptococcus.

Over 28,000 households, 24 construction sites and 70 public places in Hanoi have been chemically treated to prevent dengue fever from spreading. — VNS
