The project to develop Shan Tuyet tea trees in Sinh Phinh and Ta Sin Thang communes.

Implementing the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, based on allocated capital, by the end of September 2023, the People's Committee of Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province has appraised and approved 13 projects to support community production development.

The total number of households benefiting from this program is 1,000.

These 13 projects include: supporting the production of some new rice types, such as sticky rice 97 and hybrid corn LVN092; providing fertilizer for households growing Shan Tuyet tea trees; supporting the implementation of the green-necked duck farming model; planting peach trees and seasonal rice, high quality peanuts and commercial catfish farming...

Among the projects that have been evaluated and approved, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was assigned as the investor in 3 projects.

They are: the project to support the development of community production of peanut varieties L14 in the town and communes of Muong Bang, Xa Nhe, Ta Sin Thang, with the participation of 368 households on 54 hectares.

The project to support the development of Shan Tuyet tea trees on 21.49 hectares in Sinh Phinh and Ta Sin Thang communes,  with the participation of 64 households.

The project to support the development of local peach trees implemented on 4.95 hectares in Ta Sin Thang and Sin Chai communes, with the participation of 22 households.

Under Subproject 2 on supporting the development of production based on the value chain, precious medicinal herb growing areas, promoting business startups, entrepreneurship and attracting investment in ethnic minority and regional areas mountains, Tua Chua district is allocated with a total budget of more than 22.6 billion VND in 2023, including 3,521 billion VND transferred from 2022 and 19,091 billion VND of newly allocated capital.
