Stretching over 1km from Dragon Bridge to Tran Thi Ly Bridge in Hai Chau District, Bach Dang pedestrian street connects with Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the pedestrian area on the east bank of the Han River in Son Tra District. This new attraction operates daily from 3 PM to midnight, providing a fresh experience along the scenic Han River.
The street features 12 kiosks along the eastern sidewalk, using containers for a unique aesthetic. Additionally, there are 5 mobile vending units and 15 street vendors operating on the eastern lane of Bach Dang Street.
The pedestrian street includes five distinctive check-in points, additional greenery, benches, decorative lighting, and three parking areas. There are also two public restrooms conveniently located for visitors.
From Monday to Thursday, one lane on the eastern side of Bach Dang Street is dedicated to pedestrian use, with the remaining three lanes operating as a one-way street with a speed limit of 40 km/h. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the entire street from Binh Minh 10 Street to APEC Park is closed to vehicular traffic, enhancing the pedestrian experience.
Da Nang city officials anticipate that the pedestrian street will enrich the city's nighttime tourism offerings and illuminate the riverfront area.
