The recently inaugurated pedestrian street along the Han River in Da Nang has become a magnet for locals and tourists, offering a picturesque setting for leisure and photography.
The People’s Committee of Hanoi on October 31 decided to recognise Hoan Kiem lake, its surrounding areas and the Old Quarter as a city-level tourist area.

The People’s Committee of Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem district has decided to extend the opening time of local pedestrian zones to four days during the National Day holiday, from September 1 to 4.
The Hoan Kiem Lake weekend promenade and its environs in downtown Hanoi have become a brand, a cultural boulevard and a highlight of the capital city.
This year, the People’s Committee of Dong Da District will set up a plan to open a food zone on Nguyen Van Tuyet Street and a pedestrian zone on Van Mieu and Quoc Tu Giam streets.
