A coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh City is giving customers a chance to relax in the tranquil surroundings of a Koi fish pond while drinking their favourite cup of coffee.

Located on Khong Tu Street in Thu Duc District, the unique café has been open for just one month.

Covering 600 square meters, the shop contains 11 fish ponds.

Le Thanh Sang, owner of the café, says the 40cm deep ponds are equipped with a waterproofing system, water filtration system, and decorated colourful ornamental plants, creating a calm and romantic space.

He adds that customers have to make reservations over the phone at least 30 minutes before arriving.

Visitors to the café can feed the Koi fish.
