As spring transitions into summer, Cuc Phuong National Park comes alive with natural beauty. During the day, visitors can marvel at thousands of white butterflies fluttering through the air or trek through the cool, ancient forest canopies. At night, the park transforms into a mesmerizing scene with flickering fireflies lighting up the dense forest.

From May 4th, the park's electric car tour takes visitors through the forest on a 5-kilometer route to witness the enchanting fireflies and explore the nocturnal life of the forest. The tour offers opportunities to observe wildlife such as deer, civets, wildcats, otters, and lorises.

The tour lasts about 1.5 hours, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily. Starting from the Children's Experience and Creativity Area, visitors travel with a park guide through a forest trail, immersing themselves in the magical scenery of millions of twinkling fireflies. Along the way, the guide's flashlight may reveal glimpses of spotted deer, sambar deer, and various insects.

The tour's nighttime schedule is ideal for observing and learning about rare nocturnal animals such as pangolins, civets, binturongs, wildcats, otters, and lorises.

Sharing with VietNamNet, Pham Kien Cuong, Director of the Environmental Education and Services Center at Cuc Phuong National Park, stated that just one day after announcing the tour, the park received thousands of inquiries from visitors eager to join.

"On the first day of the tour, we had 20 groups with nearly 100 participants. We limit each tour to about 100 visitors to ensure quality and minimize environmental impact on the wildlife in the park," said Mr. Kien Cuong.

According to the Environmental Education and Services Center, visitors should prepare personal gear and necessary items such as long-sleeved clothing, mosquito repellent, and may bring binoculars and cameras to easily observe and capture memorable moments.

Cuc Phuong National Park is Vietnam's oldest national park and a significant site for biodiversity and conservation. Established in 1962, the park is located in the Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa provinces, covering an area of 22,408 hectares. It is renowned for its rich diversity of flora and fauna, stunning landscapes, and cultural heritage.
