The twin mountains of Tam Son valley, Quan Ba district, in the northern province of Ha Giang, have attracted many visitors in recent years who come to witness their picturesque scenery.
 The twin mountains are located in Tam Son town of Quan Ba district  The two peaks are known locally as the Fairy Mountains, covering a total area of 3.6 hectares  The surrounding paddy fields and villages in the valley serve to create stunning scenery during the harvest season  The main street of Tam Son town can be found at the foot of the mountain ranges and is a peaceful and tranquil spot  Quan Ba district itself boasts a number of beautiful landscapes such as Tam Son valley. Pictured are rice fields found at the foot of the twin mountains  Some of the traditional homes in the region are made of compacted soil, which are cool in the summer and warm in the winter  Two-storey houses on stilts a typically architectural feature seen in the area with many homes also having green gardens    From national highway 4C to Tam Son valley, Quan Ba heaven gate can be considered a must-visit destination where travelers are able to savour the scenic views of the valley. The twin mountains were recognised as a national scenic spot in 2010. |
