District 8 triumphed at the HCM City Open Futsal Championships, LS Cup, which finished in the City on June 22.

The team beat Hà Nội 6-4 in the final.

Despite home advantage and several many national team players, District 8 finished the first half down to Hà Nội 4-2.

After the break, coach Phạm Minh Giàng adjusted his tactics to help his team score four goals without reply to secure the 6-4 win.

Last year, Phong Phú Hà Nam took the title, while Hà Nội were the runners-up.

Featured six teams. The best players will be selected to the national team to compete in the Southeast Asian Games in August in Malaysia and Asian Indoor Games in September.
