For years, doctors at 115 Emergency Aid Centre in Da Nang city have accompanied rescue boats to save fishermen distressed at sea, helping them stay strong and make it safely back to shore.

Doctors here have had much experience receiving information and consulting fishermen injured while sailing offshore.

Due to the distance at sea, doctors often have to give advice over the phone to monitor the condition of patients’ health.

The majority of the centre are not trained to travel at sea, hence each voyage is considered a hard fight.

Against all life-threatening risks, the doctors always stand ready to brave the powerful waves to save fishermen distressed at sea. –VNA
