VietNamNet Bridge - The odd incident occurred in Hanoi when a dog would not allow anyone to move a drunken man sleeping in the middle of the road.

At about 6 am on June 21, on Giang Vo Street, Hanoi, pedestrians saw a man sleeping on the divider of the road, guarded by a dog.

Passers-by tried to approach the man to check his situation but they encountered a dog standing besides the man and preventing anyone to approach its master.

People reported the incident to the local police.

Some traffic police officers came but they could not approach the man.

The traffic police officers then told the media that the man was drunk and slept on the road. He then woke up and went home with his dog.

Meanwhile the police of Giang Vo Ward said the dog had just had babies and was very protective.
