The Ministry of Information and Communications yesterday temporarily suspended the publication of the Tam Nhin (Vision) e-newspaper for three months for violating rules defined in its operating licence.

According to decision issued by the ministry, the news site failed to follow the ministry’s guidelines and continued to commit violations despite repeated warnings from authorities.

The ministry will review the case after three months and decide if the site, which covers a wide range of topics, can resume operations.

Tam Nhin, launched in 2013, is owned by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.
