Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha delivers a speech at Ba Ria-Vung Tau University

Speaking at a working visit to Ba Ria-Vung Tau University last Tuesday, Minister Nha said educational institutions should work toward turning out high-quality graduates who can meet the high requirements of employers in society.

It is true that fresh college and university graduates find it hard to find a job, he said, adding it is good to get a job in the field in which they major but in the current job market trends, they should explore job opportunities in other fields.

Minister Nha said schools need to match their curricula with market demand, and renew teaching contents and methods so that the knowledge and skills which students get are more practical.

Employers should accompany educational institutions because students will be their future asset, he noted. “In this aspect, I highly values Nguyen Hoang Group’s attention to cooperation with educators and the quality of education.”

Meanwhile, students need to carefully mull and choose the right fields of study as many students select their majors without due consideration.
