An art exhibition with the theme of Meeting 2017 will feature 120 works by eight artists at the HCMC Museum of Fine Arts in HCMC’s District 1 on March 18.

Meeting 2017 is a chance for five male artists Hua Thanh Binh, Ngo Dong, Nguyen Duy Nhut, Nguyen Hong Duc, Nguyen Thanh Nhan and three female painters Nguyen Thi Mai, Tran Thuy Linh and Viet Thi Kim Quyen to share their points of view about the society and people’s inner souls with unique art styles in acrylic, oil-on-canvas, watercolor and general materials.

Viet Thi Kim Quyen and Nguyen Thanh Nhan and Nguyen Hong Duc have the same subject about Saigon while Nguyen Thi Mai talks about herself via paintings. 

Ngo Dong has a passion for simple things in life while Tran Thuy Linh shows her strong characteristic by abstract pieces. 

Hua Thanh Binh brings a fascination world with lots of thoughts and Nguyen Duy Nhut describes people’s worries about life.

The exhibition will run until April 2 at 97A Pho Duc Chinh Street in HCMC’s District 1. An opening ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on March 18.
