President Sanchez Cerén of El Salvador said his country will soon open a diplomatic mission in Viet Nam, a move to strengthen economic and trade ties between the two nations.
The news was released at his meeting with Vietnamese Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh on the sidelines of the 17th Summit of the non-aligned movement in Venezuela on September 17 (local time).
The two leaders agreed to speed up negotiations on agreements to improve legal framework for long-term bilateral cooperation.
Deputy PM, FM Minh took the occasion to ask El Salvador to recognize Viet Nam’s market economy status.
Haiti expects VN to share rice cultivation experience
Haiti’s President Enex Jean Charles agreed to boost talks on cooperative documents to form a legal framework for long-term cooperation with Viet Nam while meeting with Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh in Venezuela on September 17.
The documents include an agreement on avoidance of double taxation and an agreement on investment encouragement and protection.
Both sides agreed to accelerate the exchange of delegations at all levels and create favorable conditions for their businesses to implement joint projects.
Haiti expects Viet Nam to soon dispatch experts to the Caribbean country to share rice cultivation experience.
