On the occasion of the Hung Kings’ death anniversary, public officials, employees working in State agencies and for civil service providers with the Vietnam Communist Party or the Government and state-funded social and political organizations will be given three days off from April 13 to April 15.

As for this year’s Reunification Day and International Labor Day, employees and workers can enjoy a five-day break, including Saturday and Sunday, lasting from April 27 to May 1, and they will have to work on Saturday (May 4) as compensation.

The ministry noted that State agencies and organizations subject to the announcement should assign personnel appropriately to handle the workload and ensure the nonstop provision of public services for local residents during the holidays.

Agencies that do not typically have days off on Saturdays and Sundays will arrange the holiday break according to their business plans.
