VietNamNet Bridge – From 2014, environment protection contents will be added into curriculums of all schools throughout the country.

The Departments of Education and Training of all provinces and cities will be responsible for working out plans to bring environment protection contents into general schools while universities and colleges will develop their own plans.
They will have to develop curriculums, compile documentaries, lectures and make videotapes on environmental protection that are suitable for different education levels and training qualifications.
They will also have to organize training courses for teachers and lecturers on integrating environment protection contents into school subjects; hold seminars and other activities such as writing competitions, poster competition on the subject of environmental protection in order to raise awareness of environmental protection and adaptation to climate change among students.
Schools will also organize activities and campaigns to diffuse information and laws on environment; hold activities in response to the World Environment Day, the Vietnam Sea and Island Week, the International Biodiversity Day, the National Week for Water sanitation and the Campaign for A Cleaner World.
