A foreign man left lying on the street of Hanoi with multiple injuries has been found by the locals and rushed to the hospital.

A foreign man with multiple injuries from a traffic accident are rushed to the E Hospital in Hanoi on April 15.



E Hospital announced that a 28-year-old man was admitted to the hospital after being found lying on the roadside in Cau Giay District on April 15. He had multiple injuries and was still bleeding.

He was in deep coma, had a severe injury to the head and one of the pupils had dilated. He was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and further tests showed the cracked skull and soft tissue bleeding.

The man has recovered after the surgery 



Doctors decided to carry out an operation immediately. The operation lasted one hour and the patient regained consciousness one day later.

The patient was identified as Eduard Osadtsi, 28, from Estonia. He came to Vietnam six months ago and joined a charity group to teach English to the children. On April 15, he was on his way to work when the traffic accident occurred.

Doctor Vu Xuan Quang told Dtinews on May 2 that the foreign patient is recovering well and can be discharged next week.
