Presently, it stands as the deepest lake within the cave system, a testament to the natural wonders concealed within Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.

On June 7th, Mr. Le Luu Dung, Director of Jungle Boss Company Limited, shared insights from the recent survey expedition to Lo Lung Lake.

This secluded water body was first discovered in early May, nestled within a secluded branch of Thung Cave, part of the expansive Hung Thoong cave network.

Perched approximately 15 meters above the underground river system, Lo Lung Lake appears as if suspended from the cave wall, its unique positioning lending it an otherworldly charm.

During the recent expedition, Mr. Le Luu Dung noted the rising water levels within Lo Lung Lake, with its waters now cascading into adjacent lakes. Despite its increasing depth, the lake maintains a stable water level, even during the dry season, a testament to its enigmatic allure.

"Given its considerable depth and the presence of stalactites resembling a frog-like terrain, fully exploring Lo Lung Lake remains a formidable challenge. It is speculated that the lake's bottom may be in close proximity to the main underground river within Thung Cave," Mr. Le Luu Dung said.

Let us revel in the ethereal beauty of Lo Lung Lake:
