According to Cao Bang Province’s proposal, sent to the prime minister and the Ministry of Transport, the expressway section in Lang Son will be some 50 kilometers long and in Cao Bang, 65 kilometers long.

The first phase will need some VND12.546 trillion, including VND5.0 trillion to be sourced from the State budget and VND7.546 trillion from other sources. It will take some 16 years to recover the capital through toll collection, in the 2023-2038 period.

As proposed by Deo Ca Group as the would-be developer, the project will take 48 months to complete.

In the second phase, after 2025, the estimated investment is VND8.393 trillion and toll collection will take some 20 years to recover it.

The expressway, after completion, will connect the Dong Dang and Tra Linh border gate economic zones and facilitate trade from Lach Huyen international port in Haiphong City to China and European countries.
