A fake website was found to sell online football tickets for the upcoming second leg of the final match between Vietnam and Malaysia in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

The VFF warns that the fake site is at http://vebongonline.com.vn, registered by the company iNET. It has the interface design is exactly like the website of online football tickets sale of the federation.

Fans must be vigilant and alert to avoid being scammed, it said.

The VFF affirmed that it cooperated only with GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM JSC to sell online football tickets for matches in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 football in two sites http://vebongdaonline.vn and http://vebongdaonline.com.vn. 

Both of these were registered with the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), the federation said, adding that it and GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM are not responsible for transactions on fraudulent websites.

The VFF recommends fans to visit its website at www.vff.org.vn to go to the official ticketing pages.

Tickets for the upcoming second leg of the final match between Vietnam and Malaysia in the AFF Suzuki Cup have been officially sold online from 10:00 am of December 10. 

Fans can buy tickets in four timeslots, namely 10am, 4pm, and 10pm on December 10 and 10am on December 11.

Tickets cost 200,000 VND (8.6 USD), 350,000 VND (15 USD), 500,000 VND (21.5 USD) and 600,000 VND (25.8 USD).

Each individual can buy a maximum of two tickets, with both tickets in the same price tier. Fans will need to pay by card and provide a phone number, an email address and an ID card number when buying tickets online.

The second leg of the final will begin at 19:30 at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium on December 15.
