1.Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh, president and CEO of the Refrigeration Engineering Enterprise (REE), is called ‘woman general’ at her enterprise. Thanh is very well known in the business circle as one of the 50 richest women in the stock market with the stock assets worth VND500 billion.
She is also famous for her two excellent daughters – Nguyen Ngoc Thai Binh and Nguyen Ngoc Nhat Hanh who hold VND30 billion and VND90 billion worth of REE shares. Thai Binh is believed to become Thanh’s successor.
Thanh joined REE in 1982. REE has been developing more strongly since the enterprise was equitized in 1992 with the net profit increasing from VND40 billion to over VND1 trillion in 2014. The profitable business makes REE share a blue-chip in the Vietnamese stock market.

Nguyen Ngoc Nhat Hanh, another daughter of Thanh, is also well known because she became the youngest stock millionaires at the age of 22.
2. The name Nguyen Thi Nga cannot be found in the lists of the Vietnamese richest stock millionaires and her asset value remains unknown. However, no one doubts about her huge fortune and influences in the business circle. Her name has always been associated with big businesses and big business deals. She has stakes in Techcombank, SeABank and is now president of BRG.
BRG is really a powerful conglomerate and the list of subsidiaries is quite long. Besides SeABank and SeASecurities, Kings’ Island Golf Course, Doson Seaside Golf Resort, Legend Hill Golf Resort, 5-star Hilton Hanoi Opera, Hilton Garden Inn and Song Nhue Hotel are all the subsidiaries of the group.
The list of SeABank’s leadership comprises another famous name – Le Thu Thuy. Born in 1983, she is vice president and deputy CEO of the bank. The businesswoman with who has two college degrees at George Mason University once found her name in Forbes’ list of most notable female entrepreneurs of the next-generation businessmen.
3. Le Thi Thuy Nga, chair of Nam Cuong Group, and her daughter Tran Thi Quynh Ngoc are called ‘powerful women’ at Nam Cuong Group.
With 88.86 percent of Nam Cuong’s shares, Nga is believed to be one of the four richest stock millionaires if Nam Cuong lists shares on the bourse. Meanwhile, Ngoc holds 11.11 percent of the group’s shares, worth VND500 billion.
